I have not played computer games for eons. Nonetheless, this game managed to captures my attention for the past few hours.. its addictive (or so i thought), try it and have fun haha..

just got a new project, it requires us to read an article on probability (23 pages) and write some program files to run it. dun understand what he wants... one of the line reads: "A numerical method, known as the stochastic simulation algorithm (SSA) due to Gillespie (1976), employs a Monte Carlo approach to construct the distribution .. " ehh...a Monte Carlo approach..... does it really matter where it is from? if i would ever come out with a really complicated equation next time, i will call it a Wonderful approach..

Fragile

is it a hype to break another person's heart these days ? I wonder.. a few friends were at the receiving end of such treatments. 3 has in fact talked to me about this since sunday ... i have drew some conclusions from these 3 different friends and their experiences. Usually the girls would think that they are at fault whenever something deterimental happens to their relationships. I beg to defer as too many factors are involved here. (oh the complexity of the human mind) One's mind is like a parachute, it is functional only when it is open, thus if they mind and heart is already set and whatever that was told to them was just translated to 'yada yada yada' by their puny minds, what can thou do? I understand the fact that i am merely standing on the outside looking in and i aint in any of your positions, thus i should not be giving any opinions. But believe me, one day one guy/girl will be glad that the fellow u went out with previously were blind enough to have even let you go.. so cheer up now would you =)

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... is the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and the converse is true as well. It's mentioned that most of us will see the dancer turning anti-clockwise. Try focusing on it and change her direction; see if you can do it. It is turning clockwise for me and i cant make her turn the other direction. Google the use of right and left brain alright and see if it describes you..

Anyway, i have told some friends that i will tell that what i had been doing for weeks since my mid term tests.... so here it goes..It is a design project that requires the use of a software call HYSYS. Chemical enigneering students bare with me ya.. In short chemical engineers are supposely the experts in plant design, optimization, heat and mass transfers as well as separation processes as told by our professors, but i think we are kinda lousy in those aspects hahaa.. below are some screen shots, it simulates a Liquidified Natural Gas plant.

After much optimization, we are finally writing our report, which is another headache...my uncle once told me that you know u r an engineer when u tell ppl about what you do and they goes huh.. i am huh-ing myself as to why i am doing all these.. hahaa..

Oh well i bored u din i... there is a saying by Winston Churchill that goes something like this. "The report by its very length defends itself from being read." i hope i have defended myself from the numerous critics outta that would spam my msn if i do a poor job here... or maybe it is simply not long enough..... hmm..

Friday was walking around the neighbourhood with my mum at night, talked about many things and finally she agreed to let me buy and pay for her insurance... oh well.. i am 23 already, presents dont mean as much as it once did.. the very fact that my dad gave me a surprise just now meant so much more than any other presents and dinners.. but i am still thankful for the gifts and meals, however, simply remembering it is good enough for me..I have disappointed my dad real bad b4 and made him cried, was a bad kid in secondary school.. if only i can be half the man that he is i will be extremely glad... Took some pictures, will upload them next time... changed the music already.. some friends told me to change the songs more regularly.. once a week quite ok liao ah... 老 le 老 le..

Have you ever did something and realises immediately that it might turn out to be one huge mistake? It could happen to me this friday.. oh well... we shall see... if it does happen, then be sure that i will write about it here.. --"

I need my universal remote, but i realised that i have not programmed a 'pause' or 'rewind' mode. Damn... there is only fast forward...
